Questions we get first

If yours is not here, put it in the form. We answer honestly, including when the answer is that we are the wrong people for it.

We are a small startup. Are we too small for you?
No. A good share of our work starts with one founder and a concept. If the product is a fit for what we build, size is not the deciding factor — we would rather start early, when the decisions that set your cost are still open.
What does a first conversation cost?
Nothing. A thirty-minute call is usually enough to tell you whether the idea is buildable, roughly what it costs and how long it takes. There is no obligation after it.
Do you only manufacture, or can you design as well?
Both, and most clients want both. We can join at any point — a napkin sketch, a finished design that needs producing, or a product already in production that needs its cost brought down.
Who owns the design?
You do. The intellectual property in what we make for you is yours, and that is written into the agreement before work starts.
How long does it take?
A straightforward connected device is typically six to nine months from concept to production. Charging and energy products usually run longer because of the certification and safety work. We give you a gate-by-gate schedule before anything begins.
Where will my product be made?
Across ten sites in five countries — China, Vietnam, Indonesia, India and Nigeria — chosen for the product, the volume and the market you are selling into.
